Making connections with The Floating School

Natalie, Sophie, and Jack from the JCJ committee had the opportunity to meet with Nunu and Rahmat, the founders of the Floating School in South Sulawesi, during their visits to Melbourne for the Australia-Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program (AIMEP). The Floating School is the organisation that run the Maritime Leadership Camps that JCJ has supported over the last couple of years. (To learn more, see our post about the inaugural 2022 camp here, as well as the most recent 2023 camp here).

Both Rahmat and Nunu are very passionate about their work. They shared their ideas, thoughts and future plans, leaving us inspired by the experience!

JCJ are grateful we were able to connect with Nunu and Rahmat and look forward to supporting their future endeavors.
