At JCJ we consider any donation an ‘offset’ of your greenhouse gas emissions, but not in the usual ‘plant a tree’ way. Instead, your donation will go towards supporting people, particularly youth leaders, who will make an environmental and social impact that spreads through their friends, family circles, communities, and countries. We like to think of it as ‘a drop in the ocean that will create ripples for action’, or ‘plant a youth leader’, which make your donation ‘offset’ much more impactful than other carbon offsetting programs.
