Journeys for Climate Justice (JCJ) is run by a team of passionate and dedicated volunteers. Are you interested in our work and passionate about climate justice? Well, we would love to welcome you as part of our family.

We pride ourselves on finding a unique role for every new volunteer. Together we align your skills and interests with our requirements.

Some people volunteer a few hours every week. Others contribute skills or time on special occasions. You can volunteer for a set period (say 3, 6 or 12 months) – then we will together review whether you would like to continue, and in what roles.

We have opportunities for you to join our team in almost every role under the sun. Can you help in one or more of these areas?

What our volunteers say:

P1020594 - cropped to Robyn‘I’ve been volunteering as a member of the JCJ Core team for the last 6 months or so. It’s been great to get together with like minded people, gain an insight into the potential that can be created by the Journey concept and refresh and apply my skills towards such a worthwhile project. Give it a go – we’ll respect your choice in how much time you can give, what you want to do and when.’

Jackie 2“My time volunteering with JCJ was a unique and rewarding experience. I jumped upon the opportunity to join their ongoing Sri Lankan projects, working alongside a local conservation organisation called ECO-V. During my stay I was involved in a number of different events including the ‘My Future, My Country’ exhibition, Earth Hour 2012 and the Youth Earth Walk. This gave me an excellent insight into the environmental challenges facing Sri Lanka. I was particularly heartened by the passion, commitment and enthusiasm showed by ECO-V’s volunteer network. I will always reflect on this time with great fondness, thank you JCJ for proving me with the exposure to this life-changing experience”.
